Family. I (Dara) am sure that like most people who work for themselves, the reason I do it is to have the flexibility to spend time with my family. Without trying to sound soppy, I couldn’t do it if Joe & I didn’t work so well as a team. It’s exciting, creative and hard work but because we support each other, it makes it all worth while. 

I’m reusing our image from Christmas which showed our family expanding 🥰 Our little helper has already been to two events with us and is learning the ropes. Having something of our own that Joe & I have created together is so great to share with him!

Why set up a business?

Simply, we love cooking, especially for other people. Starting a street food business allowed us to get creative!

Initially it all started with a change in our diets with focus on a healthy balance. We were also training hard, going to various sports events and finding that the only food available were junk foods. Although delicious, it wasn’t what we wanted after training hard. With a little research we discovered that other people felt the same, so this is when we started making healthy food options at these events.
